It is a journey through sound, a celebration of the everyday and a comic interplay of characters wordlessly communicating through dance and drum. STOMP is explosive, inventive, provocative, witty, and utterly unique—an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. Piff The Magic Dragon
The stand out star of season 10 of NBC’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ was without question Piff the Magic Dragon. When it comes to Piff, think Larry David in a dragon suit (with a trademark Chihuahua named Mr. Piffles) who performs jaw-dropping magic tricks and you’re on the right track.
With over 12 million YouTube hits to his name, Piff has performed to hundreds of thousands of fans in iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall, Shakespeare’s Globe, the O2, London and Sydney Opera house.
His one-man show has had five record breaking runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, two sell-out seasons at SoHo Theatre in London’s West End, a national tour of the UK and Australia.
Previously, he was the opening act for Mumford & Sons on their 17 date UK tour and has just completed a six month residency at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in their flagship show Vegas Nocturne.
Piff is conquering TV too. Piff stole the show on ‘Penn and Teller: Fool Us’ and in 2015 became the breakout star of the 10th season of NBC’s ‘America’s Got Talent.’ Howard Stern and Howie Mandel were huge fans and singled Piff out as one of the funniest and most unique acts in the history of the show. America agreed and voted Piff into the finals.
Spend The Night With Billy Crystal
Wallingford: Oakdale Theater
Tony® and Emmy Award®-winning comedian, actor, producer, writer and director Billy Crystal found fame as a TV star and movie funnyman after beginning his career as a stand-up comic. His starring roles include such blockbusters as When Harry Met Sally, City Slickers and Analyze This. He was much loved as the acclaimed nine-time host of the Academy Awards, an achievement topped only by Bob Hope, who hosted the Oscars 19 times. Also an award winning author, Crystal’s latest memoir, Still Foolin' 'Em: Where I've Been, Where I'm Going, and Where the Hell Are My Keys? was an instant NY Times Best seller.
Billy Crystal promises a hilarious and intimate evening. “This show is unique. There’s stand up, and ‘sit down’ which gives me great freedom to tell stories, show film clips and talk about my life and career and the world as I see it,” said Crystal.“It’s loose, unpredictable and intimate. The most fun I’ve had on stage in a long time.”https://concerts1.livenation.com/spend-the-night-with-billy-crystal-wallingford-connecticut-03-25-2017/event/1D00522CEB48232C
Walk off the Earth
Walk Off The Earth, the chart-topping viral hit-makers who have extended the boundaries of what a 21st century band can bring to pop music and pop culture, released their Columbia Records sophomore album, 'Sing It All Away,' in 2015. Creatively crafted from a roost of limitless possibilities, the album infuses all of the undeniable joy and eccentricity of a WOTE song with a decidedly more ambitious production. Their lead single, "Rule The World," mixes bombastic production with its uplifting chant and foreshadows an album overflowing with musical surprises.
The multi-platinum selling Canadian quintet, Marshall, Gianni Luminati, Taylor, Joel Cassady, and Sarah Blackwood, had already established a significant global following when their cover of Gotye's "Somebody I Used To Know," ignited the blogosphere, eventually garnering 164 million views, and landing the band a recording contract with Columbia Records. To date, they've accumulated almost half billion cumulative views and more than 2 million subscribers. Their single, "Red Hands," generated 11 million Spotify streams and spent five weeks at #1 on AAA radio. Most notably, however, they are one of the few artists to continually and successfully find success on both DIY online platforms and throughout the traditional music marketplace.https://www.foxwoods.com/WalkOffTheEarth/
